Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP is an Italian excellence produced exclusively in the province of Modena according to a strict specification and protected by the Consortium of Antiche Acetaie Producers. It is obtained from the cooked must of grapes typical of the area, which matures and concentrates its inimitable flavor through a long aging in wooden barrels (minimum 12 years), kept in attics. This ancient and precious condiment is dark brown in color, dense, velvety, with an exquisite sweet and sour flavor that enhances meat, cooked vegetables, fish carpaccio or baked. Exceptional on flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and on fruit, especially strawberries. Try a teaspoon at the end of a meal, as a refined digestive.
